Woodhams MEC

Woodhams MEC (Mechanical Electrical Civils), is a division of Woodhams Builders Ltd. The subsidary company was formed by the Directors of Woodhams Builders Ltd. due to an increasing amount of contracts awarded to Woodhams Builders from Utilities and Private Sector Companies. Forming this division allows a dedicated team of skilled professionals to provide a first class service to these companies - allowing Woodhams Builders to continue with the residential and commercial building and maintenance works.

Woodhams MEC can provide a design and installation service; Pipe work - in steel, Stainless Steel, Ductile Iron and Plastics, off-site or on-site fabrication in welded or flanged construction. Pumping equipment - Dosing, Water Boosting, Submersible Sewage and Effluent, Acids and Lime Transfer Pumps. Heavy or Bulky Plant offloading, Locating and Installation. e.g. Mixers, Screens, Pumps, Valves etc. General fabrications - Pipe Supports, Skid Mounted Equipment.

Our in-house engineering workshop offers custom built fabrication of pedestals, extension spindles and support brackets, CNC machines for drive sleeves, locking devices and actuator mounting kits. We also have engineers confined space certified for on-site installation and retro-fitting from manual to actuated valves. We supply high quality valves and actuators used within water treatment industry encompasses the latest technology in valve actuation and control.

Electric, single or three phase supply, Pneumatic in single or double acting, can be supplied with limit switches, solenoid valves and position indication and UPS back up (uninterrupted power supply).
